Short description of the event:
In our guidelines as a library in Sweden it is written that we should work for a democratic society. When society more and more get to be digitalized, we need to fill the gap for those whose not so enhanced in their digital skills. They might not even have email or just got a smartphone that they don’t know how to use. We help them every week with what we call “first aid digital help”, and this week we have open house in the end of the week. Where we gather people that we know have these diffuculties and together with the pensionaire organization that helps with digital issues for elders, “seniornet”, and staff from the library. We stand ready to assist and help in digital issues in these two days.
