During the Get Online Week 2012 in Russia, the Volgograd region was one of the most active region and sa great example of the success with strong centers at the Volgograd Regional Academic Library and the Volgograd State Agricultural University. Altogether they engaged almost 6.000 people!

This video shows a digital literacy training in one of the Volgograd libraries, where librarian Ludmila Ulyva explains that during  Get Online Week 2012, the different libraries of the region have organized special seminars customized to local needs: online arts & crafts, job searching skills, e-government services, online resources for young mothers etc. The video also interviews Viktor Kozyrev, a retired military officer, who explains that the digital literacy training has helped him to land into a new job as driving instructor.
