GOW2013 partner for the UK: UK online centres

UK-OnlineCentres_logoHAlready a partner for GOW2012 and GOW2011UK online centres (UKOL) is again the British national partner for Get Online Week 2013.

Local partnership

The network will involve 200 ICT learning centres in NGO’s, libraries and in private organizations and will partner with local UK online centres and other delivery partners.

UKOL expects to reach about 4.000 people during the campaign week.

Planned activities

UK online centres will promote the Get Online Week campaign to their network of 5.000 centres and encourage them to get involved with the campaign. They will signpost them to the resources available, and encourage them to run Get Online Week sessions to reach new people in their local communities.

Planned promotion

UK online centres will promote the campaign through their extensive social media channels, including Twitter and Facebook, and will include details about the campaign in their monthly stakeholder newsletter. They will also promote it through their website (www.ukonlinecentres.com), as well as by writing blogs.
