Short description of the event:
The online Conference ‘Civic Competences and Lifelong Learning for the Green and Digital Transitions: Is Europe Ready?’ aims at presenting and discussing the outcomes of the latest edition of SOLIDAR Foundation’s annual flagship publication, the Citizenship and Lifelong Learning Monitor. The publication, to be released by SOLIDAR Foundation and FEPS, is a research report on the topic of policy developments in the field of attainment of skills, through lifelong learning, for active participation in society. Digital citizenship represents one of the three chapters that the publication approaches and the conference will launch a debate with MEP Victor Negrescu, European Commission representatives and representatives of the civil society on the avenues for boosting basic digital skills and strengthening digital activism.
