7th open round of free certifications

From Fundació Esplai we want to give a new open opportunity to people linked to social entities and citizens in general to get certified in MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist), IC3 GS5 (Digital Competences Certification) and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals. These three internationally valid accreditations can help improve our employment opportunities and certify our knowledge not only in office automation but also in digital and programming skills.

When can I take the exams?
We propose exams on 30, 31 March and 1 April 2022, which you can take from the comfort of your own home. Applicants will be able to access the following exams by choosing one exam in the case of MOS and up to three in the case of IC3 and Azure Fundamentals. In any case only one modality can be chosen per person:

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word 2016 – Wednesday 30 March from 10:00h to 12:00h
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel 2016 – Thursday 31 March from 10:00h to 12:00h
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Power Point 2016 – Friday 1 April from 10:00h to 12:00h
Modality 2 (up to 3 exams)
IC3 GS5 – Fundamentals of Computer Science – Wednesday 30 March from 12:00h to 14:00h
IC3 GS5 – Key Applications – Thursday 31st March from 12:00h to 14:00h
IC3 GS5 – The World of the Internet – Friday 1 April from 12:00h to 14:00h
Modality 3 (up to 3 exams)
AZ-900 – Wednesday 30 March from 12:00h to 14:00h
AI-900 – Thursday 31st March from 12:00h to 14:00h
DP- 900 – Friday 1 April from 12:00h to 14:00h
Who can benefit from this opportunity?
Anyone over 16 years of age, linked to social entities that collaborate with Fundación Esplai in one of its projects, can be certified free of charge. Individuals who want to improve their digital skills can also do it.

Each person can only sign up for one of the three types of exams. They can take only one exam of the MOS package and up to 3 exams of IC3 GS5 and Azure Fundamentals. The Esplai Foundation reserves the right to check the registration data and to reject requests that do not meet the above requirements.

Confirmation is essential. From Monday 14/03/2022 all pre-registered persons will receive an email with an attached form to confirm their presence at the exam. Only those who confirm will receive the final online invitation to the exam.

How will we do the exams?
In order to reach a larger number of people, we propose a way to take the exams from home. Once you have pre-registered, you will receive an email with the steps to follow, both to prepare the exams (contents) and to take them online on the day you have chosen.

WE RECOMMEND: before confirming your exam, read and use the preparation contents to assess whether you have the time available to prepare.

Important dates
On 1st March at 18:00h, the pre-registration period begins to apply for a place in the exams calendar.
11 March at 18:00h, is the deadline to pre-register for this opportunity.
From 14th March to 18th March at 18:00h, is the period to confirm your attendance to the exams chosen in the last instance.
On the 30th, 31st March and 1st April, the various distance learning exams will be held throughout the morning.

These certifications are made possible thanks to the support of Microsoft and the Spanish Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare. Our relationship with Microsoft, which began twenty years ago, has allowed us to promote, consolidate and strengthen digital literacy projects, improve employability and digital skills, as well as promote coding and STEAM vocations. To all these themes, we have added the project “Conecta_IA: Coding and Artificial Intelligence for the Common Good”, which we are launching this academic year.
