Datacenter Innovation Region invites to a digital half day on the development of the data center industry in Sweden. During the meeting, the Swedish Datacenter Industry Association will give us a current picture of the data center industry and the new trends they see nationally and globally. The global organization Infrastructure Masons talks about the industry’s efforts towards environmental sustainability and the framework iMasons Sustainability Framework.

We will also listen to Anders Steinvall who has written the book Batterifabriken: Skellefteå and the journey towards the land of the future. He talks about the establishment of Northvolt’s huge battery factory in Skellefteå and why they chose to establish themselves right there.

Together, we conduct a dialogue about industry development and how sustainability and innovations can strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness.
