Event name: Coding is fun
In 5 days 32 pupils from different classes learn how to create app for smartphones and tablets using MIT App Inventor. App Inventor lets to develop applications for Android phones using a web browser and either a connected phone or emulator.
App Inventor contains:
The App Inventor Designer, where the pupils select the components for their app.
The App Inventor Blocks Editor, where the pupils assemble program blocks that specify how the components should behave.The students assemble programs visually, fitting pieces together like pieces of a puzzle.
After finishing the course the pupils made group and showed their first apps.
