Short description of the event:
Digital audio-video communication by making original digitalstories using Movie Maker, available for free in the Microsoft suite.
Gymnasium students were the target group for this type of activity. The kids have learned how to make a short movie/video with Windows Live Movie Maker.
The children were very curious to find out how from a few photos and a song they can do as they wish a digital movie. The movie can have any theme and can then be uploaded on Youtube. There were many questions and it seems that only the demonstration was not enough because they wanted to make their own videos. They have processed photos, video and even voice, used various mobile apps, and made their own movies which they showed on the last day of the campaign and after that they uploaded them to Youtube.
We organized 4 workshops of digital storytelling attended by 107 children.
