Short description of the event:

The Digital Education and its related complementary skills is an important cornerstone in the development of students and teachers. In the case of students digital and ICT education starts at the formative level and continues until they sit for their secondary level examinations. Indeed some of the students also take ICT education further by taking Computer Science as one of the main subjects. In all cases, the student is expected to have enough digital skills and knowledge to thrive into further studies or indeed in employment.
In the past interest was shown for more information about the various initiatives that the Ministry of Education had embarked on, or is embarking on, in the sphere of Digital Education. The umbrella of Digital Education is wide and touches all levels of Education, from formative to adult and life-long learning. Now you have the opportunity to hear, discuss and give your valued feedback about the Digital Education which is energising our country. We are encouraging all ICT industry and education players, operating at whatever level, to attend and participate in this event.
