Short description of the event:
This workshop originates from the direct experience of the teacher/trainer with the Xamarin framework used with Visual Studio for Windows and Mac. The objectives are to create native apps for Android and iOS that connect to the most common RESTFul services of the network that use JSON to communicate with iOT devices Arduino based (ESP8266, ESP32, Raspberry PI etc. …). Xamarin at school is a tool which is not widely used, but it has a very important potential in those realities that already use the language C# to create traditional desktop applications Windows (Winform, WPF, UWP …). Xamarin represents a valid alternative for mobile development in those schools where .NET and C# are already rooted and the introduction of other languages (Java or Swift) is difficult.
