Short description of the event:
“I DIGIT: communication with no limits” is a meeting dedicated to the use of new technologies to promote a better quality of life for people with disabilities. In particular, families are helped to implement the use of new assistive technologies to ensure greater self-determination and independence of their members with disabilities and encourage the correct and conscious use of new communication tools (sensors, keyboards, scanning systems, touch interfaces, tablets, smartphones). These increasingly reduce the difficulties of communication and enable social inclusion at the same time. Families will also visit the “multisensory” soft room (such as Snoezelen) where people with disabilities experience body sensations of well-being and relaxation through bioenergetic techniques with massages, aromas and light effects, thanks to new technologies.
