INTERREGIONAL THEMATIC SCHOOL NETWORK Internet safety

The Interregional Thematic Network “Internet Security” was established, licensed and operated for the last three (3) years in the Regional Directorates, Central Macedonia, Western Greece, and Crete, activates pupils and teachers of primary and secondary schools throughout the duration of the school year, during the timetable, in experiential activities related to Internet Security, addiction to the inexorable use of social media, etc.
Two hundred and fifty students (2050), two hundred and thirty (230) teachers and teachers, two hundred and thirty (230) Primary, Secondary, High School, EPAL from 13 Directorates of A / B and AI (Aitoloakarnania, Achaia, Eastern and Western Thessaloniki, Ileia, Imathia, Heraklion, Kilkis, Lasithi, Pella, Serres, Chalkidiki, Chania) constitute the largest Interregional Thematic Network with the title “Internet Security”.
The Internet Security Network is a purely voluntary action aimed at collaborating between participants, expressing creativity and sharing ideas between teachers, students and specialist scientists on the safe use of the Internet, informing and educating teachers, pupils and parents, the experiential actions implemented in schools on Internet safety, the ways and practices of prevention, and the avoidance of risks during navigation, but also the avoidance addiction risks.

Two teacher’s seminar will be organized (one on 1st April 2019 in Aigion and one on 5th April 2019 in Patras) about internet safety and how in participating schools to organize sequences of authentic experiential learning activities with their students at schools.
