Short description of the event:

As part of the Rosadigitale (PinkDigital) week and All Digital week, this event aims to promote the 2019 Digital Girls Summer Camp (http://www.ragazzedigitali.it/).
Both male and female students are invited to attend, as all should be aware of the opportunities offered by digital technologies for their future employment prospects.
But girls, in particular, should not miss out on this chance, due to old stereotypes which ultimately have a negative impact on the whole society.
Four testimonials will illustrate how and why it is important to get involved in STEM studies and digital technologies:
MARCELLA ALBIERO (http://www.melazeta.com/chi-siamo/) Co-owner and founder of Melazeta (Modena),
ROBERTA PELLEGRINO Co-owner and founder of the start- up Ludwig (https://ludwig.guru/ ) (Palermo)
CECILIA BUCCI Digital Communication Energica Motor Company (https://www.energicamotor.com/) (Modena)
ANNA BACCHELLI Female Engineer (Modena)
For the sixth time, this year’s Digital Girls Summer Camp will run from June 10th to July 5th, with a few novelties which will be explained by the camp’s tutors from University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
The Summer Camp is for girls in their 3rd and 4th year of high school. Attendance is free and it is a really engaging and fun experience.
