For the Get Online Week campaign in 2011, ICT Development Bulgaria Association organized “First click” thematic workshops in elderly houses that have no access to the internet. For the elderly above 60, they fully equipped a free access internet room during the campaign week, and training was provided.
The campaign week was also supported by the network of libraries, which has 2000 centres across the country. More than 800 of them are connected to the internet and provide internet services to people in very rural areas and promote the “Get Online Week” through a link on their website, helping to build up the Bulgarian figures for the digital counter.
