This video made by Crina Popescu shows the very wide program of activities offered during Get Online Week 2012 in Romania at the telecentre of the Pietrari Library in the County of Valcea. There were activities for different target groups: for seniors, youth and for parents with children. Seniors in agriculture found out about the possibility of promoting and selling their schnapps, fruit or honey on a site that the library created especially for them. The young and employed came to test their ICT skills with the Skillage tool. Parents and their kids learned about the “10 rules of internet safety”. And then there was the “generation dialogue”: young people learnend about the craft of weaving from the 83 year old Ioana and then, with the help of the youngsters, she went online and found out about a doctor for her reumatic hands and a bus route to visit her children.
